• Kenya is located in Eastern Africa, bordering the Indian Ocean, between Somalia and Tanzania.

• The capital city of Kenya is Nairobi.

• Around 32 million people live in Kenya.

• The official language is English as well as lots of other tribal languages.

• The climate is mostly sunny and dry.

• Kenya is Africa’s most popular safari destination.

• Kenya has lots of beaches along its coast.

• Above is a picture of Lamu one of Kenya’s oldest towns. It was settled by the Swahili tribe 700 years ago.
