Tutankhamun was known as the ‘boy king’. He became pharaoh at the age of 9 and died at 18.

TUT TUT TUT!

NOT VERY HEALTHYGenetic research shows that the boy king had a mildly twisted spine and a cleft palate. The cause of death is still a mystery. Tests show that he had malaria when he died but he also had a broken leg that was unhealed and possiblyinfected. Somebelieve he may have been involved in a chariotaccident because he had injuries all down the one side of his body. The fact that there is so much doubt just adds to the mystery ofthe young king.
