Kirklees Safeguarding Children Board (KSCB), Kirklees Safeguarding Adults Board (KSAB) and Community Safety Partnership (CSP) came together in October for Kirklees’ first ever Safeguarding Week - set to become an annual event.

The infobus Other events and activities

With the use of an infobus for 2 days we took our information out to the residents of Huddersfield and Dewsbury, visiting a couple of schools along the way

Events ranging from masterclasses, stage performances, street style theatre and training workshops, there was something for everyone

Kirklees’ 1st Safeguarding Week 2016 was a huge success Special thanks to everyone who contributed to making it happen including those who helped make our

safeguarding video “What makes me feel safe” Please remember that although Safeguarding Week may be over for this year, the hard work of all the teams, services and organisations continues…. “Stronger together – working for a safe and healthy Kirklees” There is always help at hand.
