AsaplayerIamasmart,technicallysoundattackerwhocanplayinanumberofpositions.IhaveplayedaslongasIcanrememberincludingplayingatsemi-professionallevelinbothEnglandandAustralia.ThemanyhighlyqualifiedandexperiencedcoachesIhaveworkedunderhaveprovidedmewithfantasticknowledgeandaneagernesstoalwaysimprove.
Iampassionateaboutcoachingandhavebeeninvolvedasacoachsincetheageof13.IintendonpursuingcoachingasafulltimeprofessiononceIgraduatefromcollege.Iamlookingforanyandeveryopportunitytolearn,coachandworkwithinsoccerthroughouttheyearandparticularlyduringthesummerandwintercollegebreaks.
Ibegancoachingatayoungage,workingforBrazilianSoccerSchools,assistingwithsessionsforyoungerplayersandwiththerunningofschoolholidayprogramsandcamps.Ihadbeenattendingtheelitesessionsmyselfandthecoacheshadidentifiedmeasapotentialleaderandenjoyedmyabilitytodemonstratethemanyskillstotheyoungplayers.ItookonalargerrolewithintheseacademieswhenthecoachIhadbeenworkingwithstartedhisownacademy,ThePremierAcademyforSoccerSkills.IworkedonatraineeshipforayearwhereIwouldcoachskillssessionsandindividualplayers,whilestillassistingwiththemoreeliteplayers.IsawmoreofthebusinesssideoftheacademytooasIwasinvolvedwiththeplanning,advertisingandrunningofthevariousprogramsandcamps.
In2011IreceivedmyfirstjobasaHeadCoachoftheWestminsterCollegewomen’ssoccerprogram.Ispentafullyearwiththeteamrunningtrainingsessions,pickingtheteamsandmanagingthemonmatchday.Iwasalsofortunateenoughtobeinchargeofthedevelopmentofgirlsprogressingupfromthereserveteamandregularlygavethemachancetotrainandifpossibleplaywiththefirstteam.
InDecember2011ImovedbacktoEnglandwhereIattendedafootballperformanceprogramrunbyacademycoachesfromFulham,ReadingandthefirstteamstaffatHayesandYeading.Theprograminvolvedtrainingsessionstwicedaily,regularmatches,classroomsessionstowardsaDiplomainSport,andtheacquisitionofcoachingandleadershipqualifications.WhileinEnglandIcoachedwithintheFulhamFCdevelopmentcenter,ranclinicsandholidayprogramsforPlaymakersports,workedonholidaycampsatBishamAbbeyandvariousguestcoachingspotsatsmalllocalclubs.
AfterreturningtoAustraliaIbegancoachingfortheclubIwasplayingforatthetimeTheCoveFC.OverthespaceofthreeyearswiththeclubIwasheadcoachoftheUnder13,14,15and16teams,IworkedasanassistantfortheUnder18’sandstrengthandconditioningcoachfortheseniorteams.Irananacademysessiononceperweekforthemostgiftedplayersattheclubandranschoolholidayprogramsforchildrenofallages.
WhilelivinginPerth,WesternAustralia,IwasstudyingSportsScienceandFootballatEdithCowanUniversity.IwasgiventheopportunitytoworkasastrengthandconditioningcoachforthePerthGloryNationalYouthLeagueteamwhichinvolvedwarmupandcooldownsonbothmatchdayandtrainingsessions,prehabprotocol,andanalysisusingsportscodingequipmentonmatchday.
Iamextremelymotivated,alwayseagertolearnandcompletelydedicatedtoacareerinsoccer.Iwouldbegratefultobeconsideredforanypositionyoumayhavewithinyourorganizationandwouldprovetobeagreatassetforyou.
