Rural Immersion
MIT-WPU method sensitizes students towards realities of rural India by immersing(staying) in the villages and
contributing to humanity. Students will contribute to rural development especially for activities related to
banking & financial services in rural areas in India.
National Study Tour
Each student will go for National Study Tour which will include exposure to top banks, NBFCs, financial service
organizations. Each Student during this tour, will gain hands on experience of the planning and organizing of
bank & financial services management.
International Immersion
In order to create graduates who are ready to become global leaders, it is vital that they gain the relevant
experience on an international stage. The MIT-WPU Method will give you the opportunity to learn and embrace
different cultures from all over the world. You'll see how businesses operate in different environments and apply

The Banking and Financial sector of India has been witnessing phenomenal changes due
to globalization, de-regulation, escalating competition, ever-increasing customer
expectations for innovative products, new business models and sophistication in
technology. All this has resulted into major manpower challenges for banking and
financial institutions.
Students will also learn peace as a course for self and society at large framing humanity
which is the essential for the stressed environment that the management students will
pursue their career into. The program will equip the students with the necessary
foundational knowledge and its application to the banking and financial sector. The
curriculum ensures that the students develop a holistic perspective of the heterogeneous
banking and financial sector and would prepare them for taking up managerial positions

Summer Internship is done by each student after Term III. It is an integral part

complete Summer Internship for becoming eligible for the degree. It is done

Banking & Finance Project
Each student will work upon a live project in Term V/VI in his/her choice of
profile such as Credit, Treasury, Risk Management, Forex & Trade Finance,
Social Banking or Portfolio Management etc.
