AimsThis lesson is an introduction to the course, learning materials and requirements, knowing
the camera, Introduce basic photography terminology, Introduce the concept of critique and
why it is important, obtain general information about the camera

1.Introduction by instructor.
2.Students introduce themselves and any history with photography: what do they want
to get out of this course? What do they want to learn? What kind of photographs
they want to produce?
3.Go through syllabus.
4.What resources do you need to successfully complete this course:
a.Camera, one that allows you to control the settings such as Shutter speed,
aperture
b.Access to image editing application such as photoshop
c.Photoshoot diary, to record image production, process and settings
d.Assigned tasks, access to the internet and to the course blog
5.Establish Communication guidelines:

and sharing images
