LIFEPAK CR Plus Monthly Inspection Steps
Once each calendar month, every AED must be visually inspected for readiness. For the LIFEPAK CR Plus, readiness is indicated by an “OK” symbol in the display window which is located in the top middle of the AED. The “OK” will be located in the far left position of the window. If at any time the AED does not indicate OK, then the AED needs attention. Alternate icons that may appear include a battery icon, a warning icon and/or a wrench icon. The AED Monitor should immediately enter one of these “exception” statuses into the AED Concierge website if any of the alternate icons are displayed. This is done the same way normal inspections are recorded – just with the alternate choices selected as appropriate. The AED Concierge Team will then be in touch to resolve the issue.

Dashboard Navigation The updated Dashboard lists the sites where your AEDs are located. By clicking the plus sign [+] next to a row, you can expand to see further information. Further, highlighting a row will bring up AED details including battery and pad expiration dates, inspection history and more. Reports Six report options are available to you by clicking on the “Reports” menu option on the left-side menu bar. Once you select the desired report, the screen will refresh with the report. You can then export your report to Excel, if you choose. AED Automatic Emails The AED Concierge program automatically sends an Inspection Alert message to site monitors for any/all AEDs that have not been inspected before the 23rd day of each month. If an “Exception” status is entered into the website, the program will generate an automatic Exception Alert to you and our staff alerting us to the issue. Copies of the email will be sent to your AED Program Coordinator and any other users attached to that site. The AED Concierge Team will then contact either the person who entered the inspection or the assigned Site Monitor to confirm the status and provide service and resolution. AED Use If an AED is used for a suspected Cardiac Arrest Event, please make an inspection entry and choose the “SCA Event” status from the status choices. Our AED Concierge Team will then contact you to initiate the post-event steps provided under the AED Concierge program. AED Concierge Team You can contact the AED Concierge Team with any questions on your AED or the AED Concierge Program.
