The inclusion of this stream stems fwm the every manager is essentially a human resource manager: Most managerial posts require the manager to interact with and supervise people. Therefore, it is important for modern business executives to understand that business decisions have human implications, and that it is the human aspect of business issues which consistently requires the greatest managerial attention.

Introduction
The MSc in Human Resource Management and Organisational Behaviour (HRMOB_1,Programme is offered and managed by the blepartment of Management, Lingnan University. This fu ll-time programme began in September 2010. The normal duration for the programme is one year full time. The Programme provides students with an internationalised and highly interactive learning environment. It aims to equip students, entering either with business degrees or non-business degrees, with the necessary management competencies to pursue careers in human resource management and leadership.

Aims of the Department

Our department aims to prepare students for a future career in manage ent by providing them with opportunities to eaequire the knowledge, skills, and EJtJalifications required for hi -caliere executives. Learning Approach
•Action Learning Students are encouraged to learn actively through case studies, company visits, real life projects, internships, participation in conferences, seminars and training workshops, etc.
•Cooperative Learning Students form base groups at the beginning of each course, where members help each other to engage in effective learning through mutual support, feedback and encouragement.
•Service-Learning Service-Learning combines theoretical and practical learning experiences through community service. The service performed by students reinforces their academic study through the process of critical thinking and self-reflection.
