shows on the day, at 10 am and 2 pm. All family and
friends are most welcome. Rehearsals begin after half

Get Running
For the last two years, a team of St. Mary’s parents,
friends and governors have ran the Liverpool Half-
Marathon for Nugent Care. Now is the time to commit to
the 2016 effort! The event will take place on Sunday,
13th March. Interested in joining the team? Pass your
name to Mrs. Marshall or Mr. Nolan and an information
pack will be sent out to you in November. All joggers,
plodders and athletes welcome. If you feel like a warm
up, there is a great event taking place on 13th December
starting in New Brighton. The 6k run/walk is in aid of the
Dave Phillips Memorial Fund—following the recent tragic
death of the Merseyside Police Officer. More details
available at: www.davephillipsmemorialrun.com.
So get those running shoes on and help some great local
charities.
The children will do their annual “Fun Run”
on Friday, 18th March 2016.

This week our star mathematician is Stanley Hilton from
Reception who can now count to well past 100.

Year 6 Swimming Stars
Well done to our Year 6 swimmers who completed their course this week. I would like to share
a message with you that I received this week from Jenny (swimming coach) “The
children that have been swimming from your school have been fantastic and a pleas-
ure to teach. I hope they have enjoyed it as much as Emma and I have”.
We are proud of you Year 6.
Guide Dogs Appeal
This week in school we have supported the
charity Guide Dogs UK. As well as learning
a great deal about blindness and the work
of guide dogs, we have also raised money
for a super charity. Thank you to Miss
Sarath and Mr. Parkin for coming into
school to talk to our children.
Well done Harriet for inspiring us on this
learning journey.
