Download - Logging Sondes GeoVista Optical Televiewer
Optical Televiewer
The Optical Televiewer provides continuous logs of oriented, high resolution unwrapped video images of borehole walls. Further processing allows for the computation and display of standard information on fractures and other geological features.
Unlike the Acoustic Televiewer, the Optical Televiewer can be run in both air filled and (clear) water filled holes.

Geovista supply a range of colour borehole inspection cameras featuring high
resolution and high sensitivity CCD sensors.
All cameras operate on co-axial logging cables and on short lengths of
standard mono-conductor cables. As a result, the cameras can be run on the
same winch as the logging sondes.
Dual Camera
The Dual Camera sonde offers the convenience of both
downhole and sidewall viewing facility by switching between
two individual cameras, one directed axially and the other
directed radially with 360º infinite rotation.
In addition, this sonde can be fitted with a compass for image
orientation.
The side view objective is fitted with an array of white, high
luminosity LED lights. Downhole lighting is supplied with either a
frontal light head or a ring light for larger diameter boreholes.

Axial Viewing Cameras
The Axial Viewing Camera sonde offers the convenience of a smaller diameter , a low-
er price, and a wide angle lens to maximise the frontal field of vision.
With a 0.01 lux sensitivity sensor and frontal light head, this camera is suitable for inspec-
tions in small diameter wells or in wells with small diameter access ports.
