Roles of Farmers Organization Authority (FOA)
- Under Act 110 (established 14 February 1973)
1. To Promote , Stimulate, Facilitate & undertake economic and
social development of FOs (Development Agent)
2. To Register, Control & Supervise the FOs ( Regulatory Agent)
3. To Control & Coordinate the Performance of the aforesaid
activities ( Management Agent)
4. To ensure that the function shall be performed in furtherance of
the government policy relating to the restructuring of society
