Our clients span the globe and include major businesses such as BP, Johnson and Johnson and China Telecoms, national government agencies like the Foreign and Commonwealth Offi ce and the Government of Hong Kong, charities such as Oxfam and international organisations such as the United Nations and the World Bank.

A subsidiary of LSE, LSE Enterprise was founded in 1993 to enable commercial application of the LSE’s expertise and intellectual resources. We offer a professional interface with LSE’s academic experts via services such as LSE Consulting and LSE Executive Education.

In 2009 we brought over 150 organisations together with 200 LSE academics in more than 15 countries. All of our profi t fl ows back into LSE each year to support the core teaching and research of the School.

What we do

In addition to undertaking consultancy and executive education projects, we operate several collaborations in fi elds including international development, energy innovation and decision making for businesses.

We also manage the iXXi briefi ngs, enabling experts and prominent people from around the world to share their thoughts on matters of current global importance.

In the past few years, our executive education courses have included: • two-day programmes on behavioural economics for managers

and decision makers• courses on the pricing, use and regulation of derivatives for

participants looking to integrate hedging, risk management and trading concerns deeper into their strategic thinking

• a set of comprehensive economics and political economy training programmes for over 500 Foreign Offi ce diplomats to date

• courses for directors and CEOs of international corporations on successfully competing in the global economy.

Recent consultancy projects include:• research into international intellectual property laws for a leading

pharmaceutical company• a report on workplace health and productivity, evaluating health

and well-being schemes• consultancy on the Alternative Investment Market for the London
