STAR WARS™
X-WING
STARFIGHTER
The Star Wars X-Wing Starfighter is a 3/4-scale replica of the spacecraft flown by Luke Skywalker in Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope. Thanks to generous Rocky Mountain Fan Force volunteers and an agreement with Lucasfilm, this unique Star Wars artifact continues to call our hangar home:·
F-14 TOMCAT
This supersonic twin-engine fighter was originally designed by Grumman as a countermeasure to MiG fighters seen in air combat during the Vietnam War. Toting air-to-air missiles as well as an M61 Vulcan 20mm rotary cannon, the F-14's weapons system was so sophisticated it was able to track and engage up to six targets at once.
EA-68 PROWLER
This fearsome warbird was designed to protect strike aircraft, ground forces and naval ships by jamming enemy radar, electronic data links and communications. Our EA-6B is currently on loan from the National Museum of Naval Aviation.
APOLLO MOON ROCK
Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum proudly displays a lunar sample returned to Earth by the astronauts of Apollo 15 in 1971. This sample was presented to Wings in honor of John L. "Jack" Swigert, Colorado's first Apollo astronaut.

The B-18 is one of the oldest aircraft in the Wings' collection. The type was used as an anti-submarine aircraft during WWII to patrol the United States' eastern coast, the Panama Canal and Alaska.
