A person who is consulted becomes a trustee.
What are the
responsibilities of a
trustee?
Should a trustee go
around spreading
other people’s
secrets?
What happens if a
person breaches
someone’s trust?
Can you think of
any other Hadith
this links to?
How should we
apply this Hadith
to our daily lives?
Abid Khan Sahib’s Diary
As we waited for the journey to resume, I spent a few moments in the company of
Ashfaq Rabbani sahib, the Ameer Jamaat France. He told me how in 2018, on route
to Spain, Huzoor spent an evening at a hotel in France.
Having seen Huzoor in the hotel, a couple of foreign tourists approached Ameer
Sahib France. The tourists, who were from the Far East, seemed enraptured by
Huzoor and assumed he was a senior member of a royal family.
Thus, they had asked: “Who is that Prince wearing the turban? Which country is he
from?” In reply, Ameer Sahib had said: “He is our Jamaat’s Khalifa and he is much
greater than any Prince

“A prince of Humility”
” Later, Ameer Sahib narrated this conversation to Huzoor. Upon hearing it, Huzoor smiled and remarked: “Aap
ko kehna chaiya tha ke ‘aik ghareeb mulk ka ghareeb insaan’.”

Hazrat Mirza Masroor
Ahmad (aba)
“A prince of Humility”
As he recounted this, tears streamed down from the eyes of Ameer Sahib
France as he reflected upon the utter humility and modesty of Huzoor’s
words.
No doubt, Huzoor’s words illustrated how, despite the unique and great
status bestowed upon him as Khalifatul Masih, he continued to view
himself as a humble and simple person.

Book Club: Ten Proofs for the Existence of God
❑ Hazrat Mirza Bashiruddin Mahmud Ahmad (ra), the second head of the
Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat, wrote a short essay for the magazine Tashheez-ul-
Azhan that was published in March 1913 under the title ‘Das Dalail Hasti Bari
Ta‘ala’. It was later reproduced in the first volume of Anwar-ul-Uloom. Recently,
an English translation of this essay has been published by the Fazle Umar
Foundation in the form of a book with the title ‘Ten Proofs for the Existence of
God.’
❑ Hazrat Mirza Bashir-ud-Din Mahmud Ahmad (ra), sets forth ten Quranic
arguments to show with compelling force that the existence of God can be
established with full certainty and in a manner which is beyond refute.
❑ This book only has 45 pages and is an essential book for all Atfal to read to
learn about the existence of God.
Discussion: Islam and Women’s Rights
Violence against women and girls is a
global issue with 1 in 3 women across
the world experiencing violence.
Of all women killed globally in 2012, it is
estimated that almost half were killed by a
partner or relative compared to less than 6%
of men. (United Nations Office on Drugs and
Crime, 2014)
