JUoDE LYNCH IN ANKANsAs.-A correspondent ofthe Cincinnati Times gives the details of a recentrobbery in Kansas, and the summary justice admin-istered to its perpetrators. We copy as follows :

One of them-still in his callow youth-refused tosay a word in answer to the inquiries made of him,except to remark : "Gentlemen, I don't recollectthat ever saw one of you before in my life." Thebrilliant youth evidently intended to lntimath thatthey were taking too grest liberties on a short ac-quaintnce. Finally, the mob gave up in despair,cut down the prisoners before life was extinct, andagain handed them over to the officers. Bat, nightbefolbre lest, new devrelopuments were made stronglypointing to their guilt The mob again took chargeof them, and administered to them a hundred lashesapiece, with a rawhide. This somewhat vigoroustreatment loosened the tongue of the young sooun-drel in question, and (having irst secured a promisethat they shotld all esoepe unharmed) he made a fllconlesoion, and refunded the money. It had beensecreted in an old bucket, standing out of doors, in agrove near town. The robbers were permitted toleave by the first steamer.

The will of Thomas Payne thus concludes:, I have lived an honestand useful life to mankind;

my time has been spent In doing good, and I die inperfect cemposure and resignation eto the will of myICreator God."
