Although our mission is to preserveUrban Trees, as a Last Resort, sometimesthey have to be removed due to:• An overwhelming attack from insects

or disease• Urban development• Urban stresses like poor soil, competition

with lawns, pollution• General neglect

Our Arborists were tired of seeing thesetrees turned into firewood or sent to thelandfill, so we decided to renew them:• Trees are taken down carefully to preserve

all useable wood• Logs are cut into lumber on our sawmill,

focusing on the unique characteristics ofthe wood

• The wood is air dried in drying sheds andthen kiln dried

Our goal is to renew this resource in a manner that helps us all tobecome more aware of Urban Trees, allowing us to enjoy our treeslong after they have died.
