Orders should be addressed to the Office of Standard Reference(laterals! Room B311* Chemistry Building* National Bureau ofStandards, Washington, D-C.» 20234 (Telephone 301-921-2045).Orders should give the number of units* catalog number* and nameof the standard requested. These materials are distributed onlyin the units listed. Acceptance of an order does not implyacceptance of any provision set forth in the order contrary to thepolicy* or regulations of the National Bureau of Standards or thethe US Government.
Prices listed herein are subject to change without notice. Pricesin effect at time of shipment will be billed to the purchaser. nodiscounts are given on NBS Standard Reference Materials. Paymentsnot accompanying purchase orders are expected within 30 days after-receipt of invoices.
Payment of foreign orders may be made by any of the following:
a) UNESCO coupons*b) banker's draft against U.S.A. bank*c) bank to bank transfer to U.S.A. bank*d) cash against documents*e) sight draft* orf) by International Money Order.
Proforma invoice service requires 3 to 4 weeks to process* and isfurnished only to those customers requiring such service.
DOMESTIC SHIPMENTS of material (except for restricted categories)for the United States and Canada are shipped prepaid if the parceldoes not exceed weight limitations. For restricted categories andwhere the purchaser requests a special mode of shipment* theshipment will be sent collect. The Bureau does not prepay and addthese shipping charges to the billing invoice.
FOREIGN SHIPMENTS of materials are shipped by prepaidInternational Air Parcel Post* subject to size* weight* andcategory of material limitatons. Any other mode of shipmentrequested by a customer must be paid for by the customer.Shipments excluded from International Air Parcel Post are shippedAir Freight Collect. Certain materials must be handled through anagent (shipping or brokerage firm) located in the U.S. asdesignated by the purchaser. These parcels will be packed foroverseas shipment and forwarded express collect to the US firmdesignated as agent.
NOTE: All shipments are made in compliance with existingregulations pertaining to the material at time of shipment.
