WELCOME NEW MEMBEr
Many thanks to the youth choir and children’s choirs and their leadership for singing in today’s worship services. The youth choir will assist in Catalyst, while the children’s choirs will help in Classic. Such choirs remind us of music’s capacity to spark and strengthen worship. I’ve found that when I sing (however well or poorly), my mind and heart become more fully engaged in worship. Today in worship, I hope you will lift up your own voice in song. You’ll be glad you did.
In each worship service, we’ll focus on John 2:13-22 and how Jesus calls us to “clear the space.” As you prepare for worship, ask yourself: “Is there any space in the life of the church or in my personal life which needs clearing so that others might more easily approach God?”
Mike Smith

What defines our church? Ministries? Buildings? Activities? Sure — at least partially. But beyond all of this, at the very core of who we are, is the people. You. Me. Us. We are Central Baptist Church of Fountain City. WE ARE CBCFC. And we want our community to know that. In the coming days, we are asking EVERYOnE in the congregation to take the time to participate in our #WEareCBCFC campaign! Here’s how: we’ve written up 10 questions to help you tell your story of faith or your story with our church and we are asking you to answer 2-3 of them in 2-3 paragraphs each. There are a variety of ways to do so: (We hope to hear from you soon!)
1) Check your email to see instructions and follow the link to the questions.
2) Follow the link on our social media posts. 3) Go directly to the website: www.cbcfc.org/wearecbcfc. 4) Pickup one of the “WEareCBCFC” sheets on the tables outside
of the worship spaces and answer 2-3 of the questions on the back of the sheet or on your own paper, and return it to the church office.
5) Take a short video of yourself answering the questions and email it to Josh at [email protected]
