• Garveyism is a religion of success, inspiring millions of African Americans worldwide who sought relief from racism.
What did the UNIA-ACL do ?
• Marcus Garvey and his organization, the Universal Negro Improvement Association (UNIA), represent the largest mass movement in African-American history. Proclaiming a black nationalist "Back to Africa" message, Garvey and the UNIA established 700 branches in thirty-eight states by the early 1920s.
Why was he deported back to Jamaica?
• He was deported back to jamaica because he was convicted of mail fraud.
What is mail fraud?

• Marcus Garvey and his group the UNIA was happening during the 1920’s .He is important because of his determination to fight for the African Americans. He was a public speaker ans was a big part of the Black nationalist movement which then he created the UNIA.
How did Marcus Garvey affect African Americans?
• He fought for the african americans and he supported them ,the Universal Negro Improvement Associating and African Communities League also helped them out.
