CUSTOMER CARE
MBS now includes an integration to Online Utility Exchange.MBS users can request new credit reports from within MBS and query past report requests.The integration also includes an automated Account History feed for sharing customer balance and payment history information for other Online clients.Automated Collections support includes submitting customers to Collections, as well as balance updates.

Billing tax data improvements now make it easier to create custom tax reports via QRT.A Service Quantity field has been added to voice services, allowing companies to identify the # of lines that the MBS service represents. This affects taxation, and will be used for 477 reporting.City/County/State name can optionally be added to the tax summary lines on the invoice.

Support for Business Accounts (as separate batches in the same file) has been added.The System File Distribution function in MBS can be used to alter the contents of an MBS-created file, prior to distribution. For example, the record-ending ‘*’ can be removed from the EFT file records prior to sending to your bank.

MBS now includes a “Self-install” wizard that allows customers or sales agents to enter Prospects into MBS.A separate tab on the Customer Care search screens is used to manage these prospects.This functionality is not currently in use today for any of our customers, and we would like your feedback to improve it! Please plan on attending the MBS Deeper Dive sessions today in Savanna B today from 2:30pm – 4:30pm and tomorrow from 9:00am-11:00am to learn more.
