Status Update
WIRED• Pkt-in loop in NEC
– Added SNAC debugging messages. – Finally found the bug. Fixed this morning (but need to
check this is a real fix).
• Merging ofwifi and production wired network– Doing today
• Upgraded FlowVisor and it is more stable with low flow setup time
3
Status Update
DEMO NETWORK• Removed ofwifi overlap on necsw• Moved hpsw4 in place of necsw3 (which will be used
for testing)
4
Status Update
WIRELESS• New flowvisor has reduced flow setup time. Once it was
very unstable but now it is stablized• Still experiencing fluctuating flow setup time
– Will work on with Rob to debug this issue
• Other buildings– Packard: All 15 Aps reflash/configuration done.
• 1 AP has Flash Card issue. Need to be replaced..• Will connect to Gates ofwifi network once it is stablized
– CIS: 5 Aps are flashed• Will work with Joe to install them
5
Performance SummaryWIRED NETWORK• Everything is normal
– New FV reduced the flow setup time to normal• Slow downlink speed from the Internet
– Not OpenFlow network issue. Stanford network has some issue
Performance SummaryWIRELESS NETWORK• Unstable due to the new FlowVisor’s unstablility
– Resolved yesterday• Fluctuating flow setup time
– New FlowVisor reduced flow setup time, but still experiencing fluctuating time
• Slow downlink speed from the Internet– Not OpenFlow network issue. Stanford network has some issue
