MDC ARC-2304 DESIGN 4 Prof. Zabala Project 2.0 Bike-Miami Station, Bicycle Transit Center Site location: Brickell Station 100 SW 10th St Miami, FL

situated at the Brickell Metrorail Station in Downtown Miami. Program: The bike station will provide:

• Mountain bike park (integrated or designated area) • 200 secured parking storage spaces • 30 lockers, 10 showers and toilets for men and women • a bike rental shop (700 sq. ft.) • a bike repair service shop (700 sq. ft.) • a bike store for parts/supplies and all bike related items (700 sq. ft.) • a café / restaurant (2000 sq. ft.) • Headquarters for the new Miami Bike Police (2000 sq. ft.) • Headquarters for the Bicycle Action Committee. (2000 sq. ft.) • Community Center (1,500 sq. ft.) • This station will sell Metro and Bus tickets and will provide schedule information

and other information to locals and tourists. Final work: Final presentation shall be printed on a series of (24” x 48”) boards portrait format

indicating the complete process and final drawings. In addition to computer models, a series of physical models for progress and final design shall be constructed. These physical models are meant to be inserted on a site model. (Details TBD)
