Job Description
Mechanical Engineers are the ones that make all the different types of machinery and such. Their range varies from little toys, to planes, to shuttles, all that stuff. They’re able to limit themselves to just doing research, or just doing blueprints and building. Most industries rely on four main forms of mechanical engineering.

Each of these are a choice to start your career with and you may choose to go into more than one field.

Aurel Stodola
Aurel Stodola, born May 10th, 1849, was a Mechanical Engineer that originated the study of Thermodynamics. He was a professor at the Institute of Zurich for half of his lifetime. In 1928, he invented the heat pump, which is still used today by people in Geneva, Switzerland, so he became known as the Turbine Father. In 2009, the Institute of Zurich declared the year Aurel Stodola Year and named and Asteroid after him in his honor. Aurel Stodola died on December 25th, 1942.
