The principle of oxygen generation
The operation of the medical concentrator AKC
is based on the pressure swing adsorption (PSA).
The oxygen generator consists of a number of
steel absorbers filled with a special adsorbent
called zeolite. It is synthetic material. It has
special properties. It absorbs nitrogen, thus, the
air passing through the adsorber is enriched by
oxygen.
The pre-dried and pre-treated compressed air
makes its way to the generator. Here it passes
through the adsorber from bottom to top. Having
permeated through the adsorbent the oxygen
molecules reach the product line, while nitrogen
and moister are accumulated in the adsorbent.
The adsorbent’s capacity for nitrogen is limited.
So, the oxygen concentrator automatically
switches the absorbers. One set of the absorbers
accumulates nitrogen, and the second set of the
absorbers is regenerated. During regeneration,
the pressure in the adsorber goes down and
the accumulated nitrogen is released into the
atmosphere. The adsorbers are periodically
switched back and forth to provide non-stop
oxygen generation.

tion solution

generate medical oxygen in the containers.
All equipment is inside the container. The con-
tainer has ventilation, air conditioning, heating,
fire and gas safety systems installed. The tem-
perature in the container is automatically main-
tained. The container has vandal proof guards and
access control system ensuring the equipment safety.
Once you need oxygen what you have to do is just con-
necting it to the power supply and to supply generated
oxygen to your main line.

The container station can be positioned in
any convenient location outside the hospi-
tal. It needs no special preparation for its
positioning.
