Medicinal plants
The Czech Republic currently uses about 200 kinds of medicinal plants.
In medicine is used a variety of herbs, shrubs, trees or
mushrooms.
Among the most known include the following:

Used flowers, leaves, bark and berries
This plant has a variety of uses in medicine
ŠÍPKOVÁ RŮŽE(Rosa canina)
Rose hips are rich in vitamin C
Used to strengthen the body and for diuretic problems
SMETÁNKA LÉKAŘSKÁ(Taraxacum officinale)
Used roots and leaves
Helps to reduce inflammation of urinary tract
It is also used for making sirup, honey or wine
KOPŘIVA DVOUDOMÁ(Urtica dioica)
Used leaves
Used as an antirheumatic, diuretic, against hair loss
HEŘMÁNEK PRAVÝ (Matricaria recutita)
Used flowers
It is used to relieve pain and stomach problems
PODBĚL LÉKAŘSKÝ(Tussilago farfara)

It is useful for inflammation of
the upper respiratory tract
