Board of Directors 2018
This year, there are five candidates running for election to fill five seats open on the Credit Union’s
Board of Directors. The term for the Director positions open is three years.
Carole Broehl is a retired Federal Government Employee and was employed for 25 years. She worked as a legal assistant at the ODAR/SSA and worked in Calibration, Personnel and Security at Tobyhanna Army Depot. Carole attended East Stroudsburg University for two years. She has three children and six grandchildren. Prior to working for the Federal Government, Carole worked as a Branch Assistant at Fidelity Bank and a teller-secretary at Northeastern Bank. She lives in Tunkhannock with her fiancé Allan Kinsman. She enjoys time with family and friends.
David Sturdevant was employed by and retired from Procter and Gamble with over 34 years of service. David has been a member of PGMFCU since 1974. His first positive Credit Union experience happened while he was serving in the United States Air Force. He has filled leadership positions during his military service, his employment and also in other organizations he belongs to. This is David’s ninth year on the Board and his sixth year as Chairperson, previously having served as Vice-Chairperson. David and his wife Leona live in Tunkhannock Township.
Jim Holmes lives in Lemon Township, and has been a member of the Credit Union since 1993. He retired from the Department of Environmental Protection after 27 years in various positions. He is active in many local organizations in the community where he serves on the board. He resides with his spouse Cheryl and two grandsons.
Manny Savignano retired from Procter and Gamble after 32 years of employment. A member of the credit union since 1980, Manny has served as a director, a member of the credit committee, and various other credit union committees. Since retiring in 1998 Manny has also kept busy serving on his church board, remodeling for family members, and "growing up" with their 11 grandchildren, and one on the way. Manny and Rose, his wife of 57 years, reside in Marcy Station located in Tunkhannock Township.
Paul Rowker is currently the Eaton Township Supervisor and Road Master, and previously worked in the maintenance department at Procter and Gamble for 38 years. Paul has been a member of the credit union since we opened in 1972, and has previously served on the credit committee. He has three children, four grandchildren and lives in Eaton Township with his wife, Karen.
