� Overview The Hirose ZX series was proposed and ac-cepted as the standard Micro USB Connector by the USB Forum in January 2007.

�Features 1. Micro USB compliant connector. Performs

to USB 2.0 (480 Mbps) 2. Maintains high retention forces (8N mini-

mum) over 10,000 mating cycle life. 3. Micro USB saves approximately 25% PCB

space & is approximately 48% of the vol-ume of a comparable Mini USB (See Fig 1)

4. ROHS Compliant.

� Applications Miniature portable electronic devices, that need USB 2.0 data transfer rates. Power charging ap-plications.
