1) The client will be conducting the interviews before hiring the resources.
2) Resources will be able to work on the client Time zone irrespective of the geographical location and time.
3) Resources will be directly coordinating with the client and will be available on Skype during working hours,
can be contacted over the Phone when needed.
4) Resources will be working from our Indian Branch, however, they will be fully controlled and monitored by

Solution
Based on client’s requirement of a cloud based solution, our adept
IT engineers had two options in front of them, AWS & Microsoft
Azure. Acknowledging the client’s explicit needs and favoring
Microsoft’s strong footing & better support capability, Windows
Azure was tabbed as an apt cloud platform for the project.
Hence using Windows Azure, Rigel Networks provided a cloud
based secure paperless meeting solution that allows to easily
setup important meetings whilst securely distributing the
necessary documents for attendees to review and annotate.
The application provides all the web-based administration tools
required to eliminate the headaches of preparing and managing
important meetings.
Designed especially for the Apple iPad, the app enables users to
browse their meeting schedule, agenda, associated documents
and the ability to annotate these with unparalleled ease and

all meeting content at a set time and date.

They were using exchange 2010 and it was hosted in 10 different

The overworked server hardware
Due to elevated reliance on emails, their local server &
internet lacked in providing reliability in accessing the
email.

The Solution
Leveraging Rigel Networks’ managed services &
project engineering team, the client’s migration
project was planned, scheduled & executed within 7
days from acceptance of the proposal.
We registered Office 365 portal & migrated 200
mailboxes with around 300 GB of mailbox database.
Cloud identity was selected to set up and manage user
accounts, i.e. no on-premise servers were required.
The accounts were stored in cloud-based user
authentication service Azure Active Directory.
Our IT engineer configured Directory Synchronization
Tool to sync the on-premises domain controller
passwords with office 365 mailbox login. The
migration of all the mailboxes was done using cut over
Office 365 migration process. After the migration, we
did the decommission process of on-premise
Exchange Server 2010.
Along with this, as per the client’s need, we installed a
new server with windows server 2012 and configured
additional domain controller. We migrated all the
FSMO roles to new 2012 domain controller and did
the decommission process for the existing 2003
domain controller.

has presence in 50 global locations with 100+ offices. They
required a unified communication platform for all their
employees enabling all their employees (full-time and contract
based) to connect and share information easily irrespective of the
location.
The logistic service provider believed messaging solution is critical
for business to function productively, especially when the staff
works remotely. The major communication in the organization
happens through the e-mail. The company relied on Microsoft
Exchange Server 2003 for messaging solution. Microsoft Unified
Messaging was also implemented so the employees can receive
and manage through Microsoft Outlook 2010.
The major challenge of message redundancy had to be taken care

Following the discussions, Rigel Networks migrated the mail
server from Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 to the latest version.
This moved the company from a traditional single server
installation to multiple role server. Mobile phones were also
distributed to the employees working in the remote location.
Employees were now better equipped to achieve their daily
tasks. Employees were easily able to communicate between the
offline applications and central database, exchange updates
about task status, changes, and progress.
