- Decision No. 1755/QĐ-TTg dated September 22nd 2010of the Premier Minister approving a scheme on “MakingVietnam to soon become a strong ICT nation”.
Objectives:
- Broadband networks
- Popularization of computers & the Internet.
- Multimedia.

III. FUTURE DEVELOPMENT ORIENTATION
3. Implementation orientation for urban areas
- Urban area planning must include a plan on passivetelecommunications infrastructure.
- Acceleration of putting aerial cables underground.
- Socialization of infrastructure development.
- Regulations on passive telecommunications infrastructure.
- A compulsory requirement on installation of shared letter boxes inurban areas.
- Specific separation of responsibilities of ministries, provinces andcities in concretization of guidelines and policies on ICT infrastructuredevelopment.
