2010 Paralympic Games
• By telling the Deloitte Disability Sport story I won a competition to go to Whistler to watch the Paralympic Games.
• Attended as a guest of the International Paralympic Committee (IPC)
• Full accreditation which served as a pass to all events and hospitality areas.
• Attended the opening ceremony in Vancouver and then travelled to Whistler where I was based for 5 days.
Hospitality & Events
• Access to private cars at specific areas and regular transport between Whistler and Vancouver.
• Paralympic Family Lounge – popular bar in Whistler used for duration of Paralympic Games for IPC guests
• Various events on at the Paralympic Family Lounge each evening including presentations by sponsors.
• Paralympic Family areas at all sporting events.
• Official events every evening hosted by IPC• Street entertainment in Vancouver
throughout Paralympics Games, although on a much smaller level to Olympics.
