ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
It is with humble hearts and sincere gratitude that we, the family
of Dea. Archie L. Studstill, Sr., take this moment to express our
sincere “Thank You” and heartfelt appreciation for the many acts
of kindness shown during this most difficult time. You have made
the weight of sadness much easier to bear. We would like to give
“Special Thanks” to the C. L. Tucker, Inc. family, you were so
much a huge part of our Patriarch's life, and we do not know life
without your being a part of it. You all have truly been there for
him in life and death; your love for him is unwavering and
priceless. Our Patriarch use to call Mr. Tucker, “Old Man
Tucker,” and we use to say, Pop you are the son he never had…A
son that was by him to the End…”Young Boy Tuck” thank you
for honoring your Grandfather’s wishes and looking after our
Patriarch, we know it wasn’t easy, but please know you did an
awesome job and even though our Patriarch didn’t really want to
stop working, he said, well, I taught “Young Boy Tuck” all I
know and he has everything he needs to successfully lead the
company. Thank you for your faithfulness.
A Daughter’s Broken Heart
I didn’t know that morning the pain that day would bring
You gave life to your own physician,
But when your heart stopped beating I was helpless to do a thing.
God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be.
So he put his arms around you and whispered, “Come to me.”
With tearful eyes I held you I felt you fade away
Although I loved you dearly, I could not make you stay.
With my stethoscope, I listened until your heart made rest.
God broke my heart that day to Prove he chose the best.
No words can heal my heartache Nor stop a silent tear
Nor take away my memories of the DAD I loved so dear.
It’s lonesome hear without you I miss you each second of every day.
I try not to cry cuz you told me to be strong I hear your stern voice clearly
say “Sherri, That’s enough, Carry On” Each time I see your picture
You seem to smile and say “It’s your time now, I’m in God’s hands
We’ll meet again someday just as u did with MOM, u inhaled my last breath,
too You have both of us within you now, we have given you our air,
Please let go of the pain that you carry, I had already gone
That was just my shell, you didn’t leave me there.”
