Amendment to Service Contract

I am writing on behalf of Heritage Oil Plc (the “Company”) to advise that the remuneration

committee and Board of Directors of the Company have agreed to increase your Base Package by

3% from £551,250.00 to £567,787.50 with effect from 1 January 2013.

As discussed, it is hereby agreed that the notice period in your service contract is reduced from 24

months to 12 months.
