METHODOLOGY

• Most of the study was based on observation on frequent time interval.

• Seasonal varieties also observed. • The birds on the Campus were studied by

frequency of occurrence for sighting and calls.

• The insects, spiders, reptiles and amphibians were studied by direct sighting.

• It includes a variety of trees, shrubs and herbs.

• Complete flowering cycle of trees observed.

• Profusion of grasses/monsoon flora with rains; bryophytes and pteridophytes seen

• Tress- 35 species observed :Banyan, Neem, Peepal, palm tress, Pongam, Gulmohar, etc

•Soil pollution, litter pollution and construction debris, air pollution.•Cutting of vegetation post monsoon season and burning of the same.•Clearing up of deadwood and logs.

• As compared to Mumbai’s diversity, a lot of species are found here.
