Extracurricular activities

Note: Those appeared for final year B.Sc. exam with results awaited can apply provided they will submit qualifying statements of marks at the time of admission.

Extracurricular activities are organizedwherein eminent personalities are invitedfrom different scientific and industrialbackground under the purview of eventssuch as ‘Nano-Colloquium’. Nanoexpress(Conference series) to keep the studentsat the forefront in the scientific research.The M.Sc. Students develop theirorganizational skills and spreadawareness about Nanosciences andnanotechnology amongst B.Sc. studentsin their own innovative ways byorganizing ‘Nanoholix’ every year.

Students from M.Sc. and Ph.D can get exposure to the following

research areas at NCNNUM:Nanocatalysts; III-V semiconductors towards optoelectronics, nanosensors

and photovoltaic devices; Functionalized 2D materials for application in

superconductivity and magnetism; Nanomaterials syntyesis for solarcells,

battery and supercapacitors; Nanobiotechnology (Clinical diagnostics &

environmental monitoring, nanobiocatalysis); Nanosensors &

Nanotheranostics and Nano drug delivery
