NAVIGATING CHANGE THROUGH BEST
PRACTICES
NOVEMBER 14-16, 2018CHICAGO, ILLINOIS THE HILTON CHICAGO
Welcome to Summit 2018 Letter from the President
Welcome to AASP’s Summit 2018!
I’m very pleased to be back at The Chicago Hilton this year for another inspiring, educational, and fun-filled conference. After a record-breaking 10th Anniversary Summit 2017, we’re back with thoughtfully curated sessions to navigate the opportunities for change that we face today as advancement services professionals.
No matter the nonprofit sector you represent currently, presenters will share the latest and most important topics and best practices via case studies, in-depth analysis, and thought-provoking discussions that will help you tackle what’s now and prepare for what’s next at your organization.
While you’re here, I hope you will take advantage of the opportunity to step away from the rapid pace and intensity of daily work and connect with those who uniquely understand your challenges and opportunities. There is much we can learn from each other, not to mention all the fun we’ll have while doing it.
Thank you to all of AASP’s hardworking volunteer committees for year-round dedication and leadership. Particularly at this time, I’d like to thank those volunteers who helped make this event possible, including our program, curriculum, and strategic partnerships committees.
Thank you also to our generous sponsors who have filled the exhibit hall this year with their ground-breaking services and systems that I know will be valuable to us all.
Please enjoy your time in Chicago and make the most of Summit 2018. I know I will!
Sincerely,
ANITA LAWSON, AASP PRESIDENTDirector, Development Operations Los Angeles Philharmonic Association
