TheRouter’sPortForwardingandUPnPfunctionshavemadeiteasierfortoday’sInternetuserstoconfigureandsetupthemyriadofNetworkPortRulesneededbyInternetapplicationssuchasOn-LineGaming,Peer-To-PeerfilesharingandMessengerservicestooperate.TheRouterhasanumberofpre-configuredrulesforseveralgames,justclickonthegameyouwishtoplayon-lineandtherestisdoneforyou.
Addedtothis,theRouterintroducesaQoS(QualityofService)featurethatgivesyoucontroloverwhichtypesofdataaregivenprioritybytheRouter.

The WPA (WiFi-Protected Access) authenticationissuitableforenterprises.ItmustbeusedinconjunctionwithanauthenticationserversuchasRADIUStoprovidecentralizedaccesscontrolandmanagement.ItcanprovidestrongerencryptionandauthenticationsolutionthannoneWPAmodes.
WPA Encryption:
SelectthedataencryptionmethodfortheWPAmode.Therearethreetypesthatyoucanchoose,TKIP,AES,TKIP+AES.
TKIP (Temporary Key Integrity Protocol) takestheoriginalmasterkeyonlyasastartingpointandderivesitsencryptionkeysmathematicallyfromthismasterkey.Thenitregularlychangesandrotatestheencryptionkeyssothatthesameencryptionkeywillneverbeusedtwice.

Product WarrantyThewarrantyisgrantedonthefollowingconditions:
1. Thiswarrantyextendstotheoriginalpurchaser(you)andisnottransferable;
2. Thiswarrantyshallnotapplytosoftwareprograms,batteries,powersupplies,cablesorotheraccessoriessuppliedinorwiththeproduct;
3. ThecustomercomplieswithallofthetermsofanyrelevantagreementwithNetCommandanyotherreasonablerequirementsofNetCommincludingproducingsuchevidenceofpurchaseasNetCommmayrequire;
4. ThecostoftransportingproducttoandfromNetComm’snominatedpremisesisyourresponsibility;and,
5. NetCommdoesnothaveanyliabilityorresponsibilityunderthiswarrantywhereanycost,loss,injuryordamageofanykind,whetherdirect,indirect,consequential,incidentalorotherwisearisesoutofeventsbeyondNetComm’sreasonablecontrol.Thisincludesbutisnotlimitedto:actsofGod,war,riot,embargoes,actsofcivilormilitaryauthorities,fire,floods,electricityoutages,lightning,powersurges,orshortagesofmaterialsorlabour.
6. Thecustomerisresponsibleforthesecurityoftheircomputerandnetworkatalltimes.Securityfeaturesmaybedisabledwithinthefactorydefaultsettings.NetCommrecommendsthatyouenablethesefeaturestoenhanceyoursecurity.
Thewarrantyisautomaticallyvoidedif:
1. You,orsomeoneelse,usetheproduct,orattemptstouseit,otherthanasspecifiedbyNetComm;
2. Thefaultordefectinyourproductistheresultofavoltagesurgesubjectedtotheproducteitherbythewayofpowersupplyorcommunicationline,whethercausedbythunderstormactivityoranyothercause(s);
3. Thefaultistheresultofaccidentaldamageordamageintransit,includingbutnotlimitedtoliquidspillage;
4. Yourproducthasbeenusedforanypurposesotherthanthatforwhichitissold,orinanywayotherthaninstrictaccordancewiththeusermanualsupplied;
5. Yourproducthasbeenrepairedormodifiedorattemptedtoberepairedormodified,otherthanbyaqualifiedpersonataservicecentreauthorisedbyNetComm;and,
6. Theserialnumberhasbeendefacedoralteredinanywayoriftheserialnumberplatehasbeenremoved.
Limitations of WarrantyTheTradePracticesAct1974andcorrespondingStateandTerritoryFairTradingActsorlegalisationofanotherGovernment(“therelevantacts”)incertaincircumstancesimplymandatoryconditionsandwarrantieswhichcannotbeexcluded.Thiswarrantyisinadditiontoandnotinreplacementforsuchconditionsandwarranties.
TotheextentpermittedbytheRelevantActs,inrelationtoyourproductandanyothermaterialsprovidedwiththeproduct(“theGoods”)theliabilityofNetCommundertheRelevantActsislimitedattheoptionofNetCommto:
• ReplacementoftheGoods;or
• RepairoftheGoods;or
• PaymentofthecostofreplacingtheGoods;or
• PaymentofthecostofhavingtheGoodsrepaired.
