• Modular and well-defined architectures, interfaces & processesare required
• More than one Operational model may exist but they should usethe same architecture
• There is no single orchestration entity– Need end-to-end and domain orchestration– Need peer or sideways interfaces, including to legacy OSS– Enables evolutionary migration of legacy network to NfV
