Sub: Encou rag ing Voluntary Contribution to raise funds for the Nationa l Foundation for Com m una l Harm on/ (NFCH ) - Reg.

The Nationa l Foundation for Com m una l Harm ony (NFCH), an

a u to n om ou s organ isation under the M inistry of H om e Affairs was established in

1 9 9 2 and the m ain objective of the foundation is providing financial assistance

to rehabilitate the children w ho becom e destitutes/ orphans in communal,

caste, ethnic or terrorist violence. The financial assistance is meant for their

care, education and training for effective rehabilitation.

2. The Foundation observes The "C om m una l Harm ony C am pa ign W eek"

from 19,h to 2 5 th Novem ber every year and the last working day of this week is

observed as the 'F lag D a y ' of the Foundation.

3. All the officers/ staff m ay contribute voluntarily to the Foundation though

Bank Draft or through direct transfer to the accounts mentioned overleaf. The

donation m ade to the Foundation is 1 0 0 % exempted from Income Tax under

Section 8 0 G of the Incom e Tax Act.
