1::Wibree: A ignoredtechno.
Wibree is a short-range wireless protocol optimizedfor low power consumption. Developed primarily byNokia.
new wireless networking technology.
However, Wibree will not be related to current Wi-Fitechnologies, due to the fact that it will not have therange and bandwidth that Wi-Fi has.
Instead, Wibree capacities will be more comparable
to Bluetooth, with a range of approximately 30 feet(10m) and similar bandwidth as Bluetooth (1Mbps).

Wibree operates in the same 2.4 GHzfrequency band as Bluetooth.
Which ensures backwards hardware
compatibility. Due to this, a single antennacan support both protocols, and manyexisting Bluetooth devices will require onlya simple software update to communicate
with Wibree devices.

Wibree Vs Bluetooth
The advantage of Wibree over Bluetooth isthat it is a lot more power efficient, whichmakes it ideal for use in smaller and less
costly devices than the ones currently usingBluetooth.
its lows cost may make it applicable to
smaller devices such as toys, wrist watches,or sports gear.

Bluetooth Vs Wibree
Bluetooth 2.0 devices can exceed speedsof 350 kb/s under ideal conditions.
This is about three times the maximumspeed of planned Wibree devices, whichtransfer data not faster than.128 kb/s.

Features of Wibree
The main features of Wibree are:
- Ultra low power consumption
- Ultra low cost- Reduced size for human interface devices(HID) .- Global interoperability.
- Wibree can be implemented in both a stand-alone chip or dual-mode chip that can includeboth Bluetooth and Wibree.

2::Insteon
INSTEON technology is a dual-band meshtopology employing ac-power lines and aradio-frequency (RF) protocol.
It allows to communicate with andautomate home electronic devices andappliances, which normally workindependently.
It is a home automationnetworkingtechnology invented by SmartLabs, Inc.

All INSTEON devices are peers, meaningeach device can transmit, receive, andrepeat any message of the INSTEON
protocol, without requiring a mastercontroller or complex routing software.

Zigbee Origin
The IEEE 802.15.4 standard was completed in May 2003.
The ZigBee specifications were ratified on 14 December 2004. The ZigBee Alliance announced public availability of Specification 1.0 on
13 June 2005. Much research is still going on with ZigBee.

DASH 7
DASH7 is a new wireless data technologythat evolved from a combination ofexisting radio-frequency identification and
sensing technologies. Products with DASH7 capability built-in or
attached to them will dramatically simplifythe way we keep in touch with the "non-
human" world around us.

Operating at 433 MHz and transferringdata at up to 27.77kbps (potentially ashigh as 250kpbs).
DASH7 provides simple, lightweight, andreliable communication between electronicdevices.
DASH7 is both a "read" and "write"technology that employs advanced powermanagement techniques to extend batterylife in terms of years, not hours.

while supporting a wide range ofelectronic sensors to make it easy, forexample, to monitor the temperature of acase of fine wine or to sound an alarm ifan intruder attempts to disable a DASH7-enabled door lock.
Communication between two DASH7-
compatible devices occurs when they arebrought within approximately 300 feet ofone another and a wireless "hand shake"is initiated by one or both devices.
