For the Joy of Reading… Read to Ride
We have announced the 'Read to Ride' activity – a
great way to inculcate the reading habit. All that the
child had to do is, read a book, write in a few
sentences the Summary of the story and submit to
the class teacher. For every synopsis submitted to the
teacher, he/she could collect a token. If a child
collected 5 similar tokens, he/she would be eligible
for a free ride.
Book Fair-10th to 12th Sept. ‘Bookworm’ brought out the thirst for a good read in
the students bringing in a visual feast to the
bibliophile.

and Water
Teacher’s day celebration – Special Assembly
Crusades for the 21st Century- 8th to
12th Sept.
As crusaders of the 21st century, the students have taken
the following initiative to protect the planet.
1. Maintained a daily log of what they to protect the
environment.
2. Each student brought one news paper each daily from
8th Sept. to 12th Sept. which was sent for recycling.
Students said no to plastic bags and were encouraged to
carry reusable bags for one week.
Meatless Monday-students and staff went vegetarian for
one day.
National Science Olympiad
In an attempt to make an overall learning
process, our children were encouraged to
enrol themselves for the National Science
Olympiad. The exam will be held on 28th
November 2013. All the best to all our
geniuses.
