celebrations of the Mahatma Gandhi,
Father of Nation, Shri Narendra Modi,
offered floral tributes to Mahatma
Gandhi at Rajghat, on October 2nd,
2018.
The Prime Minister visited Vijay Ghat to
offer floral tributes to former Prime
Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri on his birth
anniversary.
PM also attended the programmes
related to Sanitation and Renewable
Energy.
CABINET APPROVED ENHANCEMENT OF HONORARIUM TO ANGANWADI
WORKERS (AWWS) AND ANGANWADI HELPERS (AWHS)
The Cabinet Committee on Economic
Affairs, chaired by the Prime Minister
Shri Narendra Modi approved
enhancement of honorarium to
Anganwadi Workers/ Anganwadi
Helpers (AWWs/AWHs) and
performance linked incentive to AWHs
[Umbrella Integrated Child
Development Services (ICDS)
Scheme] for the period from
01.10.2018 to 31.03.2020. Nearly 27
lakh AWWs/AWHs will be benefitted by
the approval.
Anganwadi Services (Umbrella ICDS)
is a universal scheme and
beneficiaries are spread all over the
country at AWC/village level.

A Seminar on “Rescue & Rehabilitation of
Victims affected under child marriage &
trafficking” was organized by Odisha State
Social Welfare Board on 12th September,
2018 at Town Hall, Berhampur, Odisha. The
Programme was sponsored by Department
of Women & Child Development and Mission
Shakti, Government of Odisha. Nearly 300
participants including CDPOs & Supervisors
of ICDS, Police Personnel, Family
Counsellors, Eminent Social Activists, Social
Workers & members of Civil Societies took
part in it.

महिलाएं अपने अधिकार को लेकर जागरूक िो रिी िै, ररश् त ेको मजबतू करने के ललए कई संस् थाएं काम कर रिी िै। पररवार परामर्श कें द्र भी इस काम में लगा िुआ िै। िर हिन छि से सात मामले आत े िै जजनमें से औसतन िो मामले घरेल ूहिसंा के िैं, महिलाएं इस हिसंा के खिलाफ आगे आ रिी िै, इसका पररणाम यि िो रिा िै कक बबिरने की कगार पर पिंुच चकेु ररश् तों को नया रास् ता लमल गया िै। कें द्र की काउंसललगं और सलाि से पतत-पत् नी नई उम् मीि के साथ उडान भर रिे िैं। परामर्श कें द्रों की स् थापना राज् य सरकार के समाज कल् याण ववभाग से िो रिी िै, तनिेर्ालय की िेिरेि में इसका संचालन िो रिा िै। पररवार परामर्श कें द्रों द्वारा पंजीकृत केस में वर्श 2017-18 में 66 प्रततर्त मामलों का कोई न कोई िल तनकल गया िै।

One Day Counselling Training
Program for women police was
conducted by Suraksha Family
Counselling Centre to the women
police at S.P.Office. Topics covered
under the programme were Stress
management, Conflict management,
suicidal prevention, Positive thinking
and yoga classes.
Dr. N.Shree Nath Superintendent of
police inaugurated the program.
Around 54 women police participated
in the program.

लिनऊ के सुरक्षा पररवार परामर्श कें द्र द्वारा भोजपुर गांव में एक कैं प का आयोजन ककया गया। यि कैं प स् थानीय व् यजततयों के सियोग से आयोजजत ककया गया जजसका उदे्दश् य बाल वववाि और महिला सर्जततकरण पर चचाश करना था। कैं प में उपजस्थत कुछ महिलाओं ने बताया कक उनकी र्ािी 7 से 10 वर्श की उम्र में कर िी गई थी। संस् था सिस् यों ने उन् िें समझाया कक वे अपन ेबच् चों का वववाि बाललग िोने के पश् चात ्िी करें । साथ िी उनसे घरेलू हिसंा व महिला सर्जततकरण के संबंि में बातचीत की गई। चचाश के िौरान यि सामन े आया कक लगभग प्रत् येक घर में लडाई झगडा व मारपीट की घटनाए ंिोती िैं। उन् िें हिसंा के ववरूद्ध अपनी आवाज उठाने के ललए प्रेररत ककया गया तथा इस संबंि में कानूनी प्राविान बताया गया। गांव के प्रिान द्वारा संस् था सिस् यों का िन् यवाि ककया गया तथा उन् िें यि भी बताया कक िमारे गांव में इस प्रकार की चचाश पिली बार िुई िै।

of CSWB on 28th September,
2018 (A.N) as a part of their
study tour. They were briefed
about CSWB and its activities.
Around 22 students and 2
faculty members participated
in the programme.
