Toy MovementHelen Christou Gallery November 2 – January 11, 2008Reception: 4 – 6 pm, Friday November 9
Moody Idols: the urban vinyl toy movement explores this new popular contemporary art form. Lethbridge artist Ted Stilson has commissioned the production of an urban vinyl toy – essentially a blank, 3D “canvas” to which artists add their own design. Stilson’s form, called a “Moody,” represents a stylised cow and the exhibition consists of “Moody” forms painted by local and international artists as well as other urban vinyl toys from Stilson’s collection.
At 3:00pm leave class to attend
