I. CALL TO ORDER
Good afternoon everyone, the event is about to start. Graduates, please find
your respective places in the line and guide your parents in the processional.
To maintain the solemnity of this occasion, kindly turn-off your cell phones or
any electronic gadgets as this may affect our sound system. Family and guests
are expected to show courtesy by refraining from leaving their seats in order
to take pictures or by talking to graduates. Food and beverages are strictly
prohibited inside the complex. Thank you for your cooperation.
II. INTRODUCTION:
Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen. Graduation day is always a day of
rejoicing for it marks the conclusion of an educational journey and the
commencement of another more uncertain and more difficult part of man’s
quest for a better life and future.
With the theme “Building the Nation’s Future Leader through the K to 12
Basic Education Program,” parents, families and friends, it is my distinct
privilege to welcome you all to the 27th commencement rites of Navotas
National High School.
III. PROCESSIONAL
Ladies and gentlemen, a big round of applause to the members of the
graduating class, batch 2013. Starting off with the candidates for
graduation in the Science Enriched Curriculum Class or IV-EC on the left
and IV- Benevolence on the right side. As we all know apart from IV-EC, the
names of the rest of all fourth year classes in Navotas National High School
come from moral virtues that we hope our graduates will embody.
Walking tall and proud as they march wearing their caps and gowns are
the graduates from IV Humility and IV Tolerance, a round of applause!
Following are the candidates for graduation from IV Obedience and IV
Courage.
Let’s cheer from the graduating students from IV Honesty and IV Loyalty.
Next, a round of applause to the graduating members of IV Integrity and IV
Endurance.
Tailing next are the proud members of the graduating class from IV
Perseverance and IV Optimism, a big round of applause!
Finally, the last but not the least sections of Batch 2013, round of applause
to the candidates for graduation from IV Patience, IV Industry and IV
Diligence.

BEHIND THE SUCCESS OF OUR GRADUATES ARE THE GUIDANCE OF THE
BRILLIANT FACULTY MEMBERS OF NAVOTAS NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL. A
round of applause to your teachers and mentors!
NEXT IN LINE ARE THE COMPETENT AND UNWAVERING MANAGERS OF
THE SCHOOL, the administrative staff headed by our dear principal DR.
MARIA CRISTINA ROBLES! Marching with her are the heads of the different
subject area departments! (Read program) Tailing next are the support
staff and year level chairpersons. (Read program) Let us all give them a
warm of applause please!

Right next, are the active officers of the General Parent Teacher
Association led by their president Mr. Jose Deonaldo Deala and the
Officers of the Parents Assembly of the Graduating Class led by their
president Mrs. Julie Gino.

your children to achieve this milestone in their lives, a round of applause
to this year’s set of Fourth Year Advisers!

II. DOXOLOGY & NATIONAL ANTHEM
God almighty, we offer you this very special occasion, the 27th
Graduation Rites of Navotas National High School. Truly, we rejoice
because you have made this moment possible through your GRACE,
COMPASSION AND LOVE.
May we hear the doxology to be sung by the NNHS Chorale and to
be followed by the singing of the Philippine national anthem with
Mrs Vina G. Victorio conducting.
Thank you very much, we may now be seated.
III. OPENING SONG
Music is the expression of the soul. It moves emotions and feels with the
movement of time. Let us now hear the graduates pay tribute to their
Alma Mater as they sing the Navotas National High School Hymn with Mrs.
Marita D. Aquino conducting.
Thank you Mam Aquino. Class of 2013 you may now be seated.
IV. PRESENTATION OF CANDIDATES
At this point may I call Dr. Maria Cristina A. Robles to present the
candidates for graduation to our schools division superintendent, Dr.
Loreta B. Torrecampo.

VI. DISTRIBUTION OF DIPLOMA
Dear graduates the moment that you’ve been waiting for has finally come.
The fruit of hard work and discipline will finally be achieved. You will now
be receiving your prized diploma.

Jesus to assist in the distribution of diploma. The names of our graduates

VII. CONGRATULATORY MESSAGE
To give our graduates a rousing congratulatory message, may we
have our very own representative in Congress, Hon. Tobias Reynald
M. Tiangco.
To inspire our graduates even more, I would like to call on our dear
city mayor, Hon. John Reynald M. Tiangco.
VIII. AWARDING OF MEDALS & CERTIFICATES
Excellence is not an act but a habit. It takes practice and perseverance to

IX. VALEDICTORY ADDRESS
To express the sentiment of batch 2013, may I call on this year’s class
valedictorian, EUGENIO LETADA JR.
X. PLEDGE OF LOYALTY
To lead the class in their pledge of loyalty, May call on John Matthew
Zarate, this year’s class salutatorian.
XI. CLOSING SONGS
The closing hour has finally arrived. Behind you, graduates are the
shadows of what might have been, and ahead . . . the image of what you
hope to be. As you continue your journey, may you look back to this stage
of your life with fondness and pride. Ladies and gentlemen the class of
2013 to sing Paalam and Thank You Once Again with Mrs. Vicky de Jesus
conducting.
Don’t throw your caps, you may hurt someone. Stay in your seats. Advisers
kindly accompany your students. You’ll have to surrender your toga.
XII. EXIT OF COLORS.
Please stand for the exit of colors. Another achievement has been fulfilled
tonight. I would like to say thank you to all our guests and we are inviting
you to join us in our simple dinner offering. Thank you very much and good
night.
