Heeeeeeres Jonny! In a devilish dawg ght, Jonny Koessl (#33) broke through
a wall of white jerseys and found open eld on a 70-yard
punt return in the second quarter as Glasgow triumphed
over Huntley Project 30-7 this past Saturday on Scotty
Field. Koessls punt return early in the second quarter put
the Scotsmen up 13-0 following a rst-quarter TD run by
quarterback Jason Thibault. Another big play later in the
second quarter was Keil Krumwiedes 8-yard fumble return
to the end zone for a 20-0 lead over the Red Devils who
would nally score their only touchdown of the game with a
minute and a half left in the rst half. After a scoreless third
quarter, Thibault would connect with Chase Fossum who
was off to the races, covering 44 yards for another Scotty
touchdown. The Scotties eld goal kicker Valentin Robert,
already with a couple of PATs, put the icing on the cake in the
closing minutes with a 37 yarder that sailed well above the
goal posts and had the team of ofcials out of Havre staring
wide-eyed in disbelief.
Up next is Faireld, same place, same time (Scotty Field,
1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 9).
