To find out how much you owe and what’s due when, select the correct program and year of study from the pull-down list… the updated information for 2013/14 should be available by mid-May
For general information on Residence fees, follow the “Residence” link from the Student Financial Services website – watch for updates for 2013/14
Your actual residence fees won’t be charged to your account until late August, after room determinations
have been made.
To check your actual fees & to access tax receipts, log into WebAdvisor through “My Nipissing”: up-to-date fee information should show up there by the end of August
Information on WebAdvisor
How can I pay?You may pay by cash, certified cheque, debit card (ensure you have a high enough daily limit to cover your payment), money order (payable to Nipissing University) or online* or in person* at any of the five main banks. We do NOT accept credit card payments!
Paying after hours?Use our after hours drop box next to the Student Financial Services Office (F216) exit door – cheques or money orders only!
Paying your fees with OSAP?Make sure an application is submitted by July 15 and that ALL required documentation has been mailed in (you can check your status online by logging back into the OSAP website). Also ensure that you have processed your MSFAA with a designated postal outlet during the summer. If your file is complete as of the fee deadline date, the first fee installment will be deducted. We assume you wish to pay by installments!
*NOTE ABOUT ONLINE & BANK PAYMENTS:It can take several business days for online and bank payments to be posted to the student’s account. Keep this in mind if you need to meet a deadline!
Keep a copy of the receipt (or print the online payment proof) and provide it to the student, in case it’s needed.
Note that it is still possible to apply for OSAP after July 15; it is just less likely that your funding will be available in time for the first day of classes. To apply, visit osap.gov.on.ca.

When the file is complete and an assessment has run, a new option – funding summary- will appear in
the left hand list
This message tells you the file is complete; check the funding summary regularly for details on how much will be issued and when. The school will automatically confirm enrolment just before school starts and each time additional funding is ready to be issued.
