Oregon is
second in the nation for non-medical
use of opioids
O N AV E R A G E ,
there are
121 suicides
per day nationally
In Oregon alone, the numbers are staggering: nearly half of Oregon
students report being harassed in the past 30 days,
an average of three Oregonians die every week
from prescription opioid overdose according to the
Oregon Health Authority, and our state’s suicide rate
is 42% higher than the national average. But to us,
the “numbers” are much more than statistics.
They represent people in need of help.
At Lines for Life, we ensure that help is available
anytime it’s needed, day or night. In the dark lonely
moments, calling Lines for Life can light the way
to brighter futures for individuals, families, and
communities. Support our efforts and join us for
our annual gala as we continue to answer calls and
provide services 24-hours a day, seven days a week,
365 days a year. Join us in lighting the way!

After talking things through with you,
I feel more hopeful. ”CRISIS LINE CALLER
