This letter is to advise you pursuant to the provisions of Section 4-112 of OK Title 26, the OklahomaRepublican Party will not allow Independents to vote in a Primary Election or Runoff Primary Election ofthe party.
The Oklahoma Republican Party feels that only registered Republicans should have the opportunity tovote for Republican candidates in the party’s primary elections. We acknowledge this decision will savethe taxpayers nearly $150,000 in 2016.
