TTHEHE OONENESSNENESS OFOF GGODOD ANDAND Me Me - Sage
In the church we love to use the religious slogan, “Where would I be without God”. It is this kind of religious
misunderstanding that has made it so hard for the sinner to get to God. We all say "were would I be without Je-
sus" at some point in our walk with him, but in reality we will NEVER experience the absence of God any-
where but in our MINDS. Paul said that it is IN him that we move and have our BEING. What he was saying is
there is no life without him. If you were absent of the presences of God you would not even know it, because
you would not exist.
Theology and scripture teaches us that Jesus is the omnipresent One, meaning everywhere present at one time.

Religion has given us an idea of separateness from
God that was never presented in scripture. I believed
that some did this as a way of controlling and manipu-
lating people. Others, I think there intent was pure, in
that they were trying to cause those that don't have
relationship with God to desire the need to draw closer
to him. The effects was the very opposite. They have
caused those that don’t know God to think the gap is
too great to cross.

Before I came to Christ, there was no separation! At Calvary the slate was wiped clean!
At Calvary the arresting warrant that was issued in the garden, when Adam sinned, was canceled and nailed to
Christ’s Cross.
What a revelation to help those that don’t know Christ! We have to help them see even in your darkest place
of sin you CAN NOT be separated, and have never been separated from the Light of God if you will allow it to
shine in your dark places!

It think the Message Bible Translation make this clearer.
Isaiah 59:2 MSG... Your sins got between you so that he doesn't hear.Isaiah 59:2 MSG... Your sins got between you so that he doesn't hear.
Let’s get clear on what this verse is saying. It was your sin that hid God from you, that got between you and
His face, and causes him not to be able to hear you, it was not something that God has against you!
Wow!!! How can I say that?
Genesis 3:8Genesis 3:8--9 MSG When they heard the sound of GOD strolling in the garden in the evening breeze, the 9 MSG When they heard the sound of GOD strolling in the garden in the evening breeze, the

Sin is not powerful enough to keep God away Sin is not powerful enough to keep God away
from you! from you!
Sin keeps you away from God! Sin keeps you away from God! Sin takes you out of Christ consciousness. Many preachers like to say that
God want hear a sinners prayer, but I beg to differ. God was still calling
Adam while He was in a sinful state. It was up to Adam to answer. Sin, iced with religious understanding of
‘separation’ will cause you not to pray and thus God can’t hear what is not being said.

Let us rethink our doctrines and theology that tries to recreate the gap that was closed at Calvary that existed be-
tween sinners and God. It was Jeremiah that sais before I formed you in the belling I knew thee. What that is saying
is Even before your incarnation into this human experience we were married to God. Our coming to him by salvation
is only a returning to our first state.
