Methods
• Fourier transform Infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy of filter samples to get overall organic mass and functional groups
• Scanning transmission x-ray microscopy near edge absorption fine structure (STXM-NEXAFS) to get morphology and composition of single particles impacted on sample windows

• Sea sweep, bubbler, and ambient marine factor show similar organic functional group composition
• Single particles from the Sea Sweep and clean marine samples have particle morphologies and absorption spectra similar to other observed marine particle
