Agenda:• Where we are today and how did we get here?
• Charlie Precourt (Four-time NASA Space Shuttle Astronaut & CJP Safety Committee Chair)• Capt. Bill Curtis (Head of Aviation, Presage & FSF International Advisory Committee Member)
• Industry flight data supporting the need to act• Shelby Balogh (GE Digital)
• Study overview• Dr. Martin Smith (CEO/Co-Founder, Presage Group Inc.)• Piyush Gandhi (VP, Operations & Business Development, Presage Group Inc.)
• We must act• Andrew Day (Chief Operating Officer, WYVERN)
CJP GADM Project Overview:• Different strategy for addressing the issues of stabilized approaches,
go-around compliance, touchdown zone accuracy, and decision making through Presage:
• Typically, we use flight data to understand WHAT happened – this approach gets to WHY it happened
• GA is an option but…it’s not the only option
• The difference between a GOAL and a LIMIT
• Each operation and aircraft type will develop their own limits

Note: This is a project timeline estimate. Presage commits to completing all phases even if this timeline extends beyond the projected end date.
Project Phases Timeline:
Study of unique operations:Charter and private jet operations have numerous differences compared with commercial airline operations and therefore must be studied independently:
• Lack of standardization regarding stabilized approach criteria, stable landing, and go-around execution
• Acceptance of deviance from OEM prescribed SOPs• Procedures not necessarily designed for real-world operations• On demand, time-critical charter or principal(s) transport• Aircraft owner/operator culture• Medivac / special mission• Small/remote non-towered or uncontrolled airports with mixed traffic• Visual approaches• Confined, high-terrain, or high-altitude airfields
We must act…• Preventable approach and landing accidents/incidents will continue to occur
unless we take the bold and necessary steps to mitigate them
• This study will be a groundbreaking inquiry for charter and private jet operations:
• We will dismantle the current antiquated thinking, and rebuild the approach, landing and go-around policies and procedures with data derived through a valid scientific process
• We will weave a new level of standardization into the charter and private jet world that hasn’t existed previously
• By design, our process is collaborative so that stakeholders have a voice in the process
